Sandcastle Waterpark

Home to the longest indoor rollercoaster waterslide in the world, and the world’s first indoor vertical waterslide this is the UK’s largest Indoor waterpark with 18 slides and plenty of exciting attractions in an 84-degree tropical climate. Blackpool Zoo

Spread over 32 Acres Blackpool is home to over 1500 rare and exotic animals including lions, tigers, giraffes, elephants and gorillas. The zoo specialises in up close and personal feeding and animal encounters. There is also a reptile and insect house for smaller species. Open every day except Christmas day. Plan to be here all day as there is so much to see. Picnic areas around the grounds mean you can watch the animals while eating your lunch plus a cafe on-site if you get hungry or thirsty.

Wintergardens & Opera House

Located in Blackpool's town centre it is easy to find The Winter Gardens, one of Europe's biggest entertainment complexes that includes theatres, conference facilities and ballrooms. Many of the international dance championships and the Worlds Matchplay Darts plus a number of major political conferences have been held here. The Opera House hosts theatrical performances in addition to variety shows and music concerts. The ground floor exhibition halls are home to everything from fitness expos to Comicon every year and on the first floor Spanish, Baronial and Renaissance Halls are perfect for weddings and banquets.

Sea Life is packed with fascinating creatures. There are seahorses, stingrays and starfish to name a few of the thousands of spectacular aquatic beings. With over fifty dazzling displays this is a must for sea lovers. The huge ocean tank, where a maze of tunnels allows you a unique view, including that of tropical sharks, is indeed jaw dropping.
