December is our favourite time at the Belmont Hotel and we can’t wait to deck the halls and get the mulled wine simmering. The aroma of mince pies mingling with the smell of pine from the Christmas trees is really quite magical and we’re keen to get the celebrations started.
Everyone knows that Christmas is all about the food, and food has always been at the heart of our festive packages. Our resident chef spends most of the year dreaming up indulgent ways of spoiling our guests over Christmas and this year looks to be no exception.

The Christmas Experience
23rd December - Arrival Day
Arrive on the 23rd, enjoy a welcome drink and meet the staff. Afternoon tea, offering a variety of mouth-watering cakes, biscuits and savories give you a chance to relax and unwind after your journey. Your evening includes a gourmet five-course evening meal, bingo plus fun and games alongside some of the best cabaret the Fylde Coast has to offer. In the break sign up for our in-house competitions to be played throughout your stay, snack on a light supper, and take part in our fabulous prize raffle.
Christmas Eve
On your first morning with us enjoy a hearty breakfast followed by a chance to venture along the seafront into the town for last-minute Christmas Shopping. A buffet lunch offers the opportunity to sample a range of hot and cold prepared-in-house delicacies. In the evening indulge yourself and enjoy another gourmet five-course evening meal. Celebrate Christmas Eve with us featuring fun and games, a prize raffle, alongside spectacular cabaret, and a snack supper.
Christmas Day
In the morning why not enjoy the fresh air and beautiful scenery of the seafront after breakfast. Mid-morning gather in the bar lounge where the revelry begins with our famous chocolate buffet complete with mulled wine and Belmont Punch. Sample a host of delightful indulgences whilst waiting for the arrival of Father Christmas, laden with gifts for you all. Have your photo taken with Santa Claus by our resident professional photographer or snap your own as you receive your specially chosen gift.
Christmas Day lunch is served early afternoon followed by time to relax or play your competition rounds. A buffet tea featuring a variety of hams, cheeses, salmon, freshly prepared salads and newly cooked bread as well as a range of desserts for the sweet-toothed kicks off the evening followed by more superb entertainment.
Boxing Day
A hearty breakfast is served in the dining room followed by a chance to delve into the sales and treat yourself to a post-Christmas present in the town. A smorgasbord of food is once again served at lunchtime after which there is time to complete competition rounds. The evening meal signals the start of another fabulous evening. Bring your dancing shoes or join us in a sing-a-long, not forgetting our Trophy presentations, Prize givings and Raffle. A snack buffet gives the chance for more nibbling late in the night.
27th December
Enjoy a full English breakfast before fond farewells. For those staying for our Twixmas House Party or Beyond. . . the fun continues.
"Never Fails To Delight. We did not think that this lovely little hotel could get any better but it does. We went for Christmas and it was just amazing. The food was absolutely delicious, the entertainment excellent and the family atmosphere was abundant. It is a family affair and everyone works so hard to look after everyone's needs. You cannot imagine just how relaxing it was and fun at the same time. We always come here and please God we will for many years to come. They are so clean and always decorating and improving. Well done to all of the family but especially Cordelia. See you as soon as we can get away".
